LEGO ANIMATION STUDIO CLASS DESCRIPTION

With a partner, build a own mini movie set and create an animated movie using provided LEGO parts and mini figures. Using LEGO Cam and LEGO Studios software, you use a computer and video camera to make your animated movie using stop-motion and live video techniques. You then edit your movie and add exciting sound effects, music, narration and titles with the LEGO Studios software. The finished movies are mailed to you on a DVD.  Good discipline, patience, and teamwork is required.  See sample movies.

Instructor Steve Putz has taught LEGO robotics at local schools and coached award winning robotics teams since 1999. In 2002, he founded Robotics Learning to provide LEGO Robotics workshops, classes and summer camp programs. Steve previously worked for the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center doing software research and has several software patents.
Maximum class size is 12 students.  The class may be canceled and a refund provided if minimum enrollment is not achieved. No refunds for missed classes.   This class is provided by Robotics Learning
